December 19, 2022 by Jonathan Fuhrman

By Jonathan Fuhrman

A2LA’s Annual Conference (formerly known as Tech Forum) is just around the corner. From April 16 – 19, 2023, compliance professionals from all over the world will gather in Tucson, AZ for engaging sessions, networking events, and much more. This conference is shaping up to be one of A2LA’s most exciting events yet! Whether you’re attending as an association member, A2LA customer, or industry stakeholder, there will be something for professionals of all industries, including automotive, cannabis, environmental, life sciences, calibration, biobanking, pharmaceutical, and more.

Here are just a few of the reason we’re so excited for the 2023 A2LA Annual Conference:

1. A Luxurious New Venue

A2LA is taking the Annual Conference on the road for the very first time. The JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort & Spa is an absolute game changer with deluxe amenities, three golf courses, access to hiking trails, and scenic views of the desert and Tucson mountains. Contemplate the day’s takeaways as you make your way around the Starr Canyon Lazy River or treat yourself to any of the wellness services on-site in the Hashani Spa. Be sure to also check out the Mitakuye Oyasin (Mee-Tah-Kay Awe-Sin) morning ceremony, a traditional Native American ceremony, on the Salud Terrace.

2. Top-Notch Networking

Where else can you mix it up with accreditation professionals, standards experts, and industry leaders from across the globe? Talk shop with peer organizations in A2LA’s Technical Advisory Committee meetings, meet like-minded professionals at the conference’s speaker sessions, and let loose with colleagues at various social events. The A2LA Annual Conference offers networking opportunities like no other.

3. Opportunities for Education

Attend talks on all sorts of specialized and general-interest topics including Journey to Accreditation, Measurement Confidence, Successful PT Participation, Revisions to the TNI Standards, and many more. Get the inside-track on key changes to industries and policies potentially affecting your organization. Take advantage of the opportunity to ask your accreditation questions to A2LA assessors and industry experts. The A2LA Annual Conference puts you in the know and places you in the company of this industry’s best and brightest minds. You’ll walk away with knowledge, skills, and perspective you can immediately implement at your organization. Knowledge is power!

4. Mix and Mingle

Whether it’s circus acts, surf parties, karaoke, or carnival games, you can always depend on A2LA to throw a great time and we look forward to upping the ante at Tucson. The A2LA team is pulling out all the stops to give conference attendees a memorable western experience. Enjoy delicious food, great drinks, and excellent company—all week long.

5. Strike Inspiration

There’s no better way to foster inspiration, innovation, and enthusiasm than gathering with people who are just as passionate as you. A change of scenery and a fresh perspective may just give you your next great idea. Sharpen your skills and return home with a newfound excitement for quality, compliance, and accreditation—all while looking forward to next year!
