The A2LA Reference Materials Producer Accreditation Program demonstrates competence by formal compliance with a set of internationally-recognized criteria.
The program also provides users of reference materials, such as testing and calibration laboratories, with increased confidence that relied-upon reference materials are being produced in accordance with specified technical and management system requirements and are of appropriate quality.
In July 2020, A2LA extended signatory status with the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) mutual recognition arrangement (MRA) to include reference material producers (RMPs) under the standard ISO 17034. Read more here.
There is an increasing need for reference material producers to support cannabis and hemp testing laboratories. For more information, please visit A2LA’s cannabis testing accreditation program page.
