Titled “Common Industry Terms for Calibration Contract Review,” this webinar will explore and analyze common problems in industry communications.
Frederick, Md (October 25, 2023) – The American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA), a global accreditation body, has announced it will host a joint webinar with test and measurement equipment manufacturer, Tektronix. The webinar, titled “Common Industry Terms for Calibration Contract Review,” will take place virtually on December 6, 2023, at 2:00 PM EST.
Presented by Jennifer Fleenor, Tektronix’s Services Quality Manager, and Stephanie Morin, A2LA’s Calibration Accreditation Manager, this webinar will explain common industry terms and definitions used between customers and calibration providers during contract reviews.
Webinar attendees will:
- Learn why it is important for all parties (calibration providers and customers) to speak the same language regarding services
- Analyze common areas of miscommunication
- Discuss ways communication barriers can be dissolved with both calibration provider and customer cooperation
Tektronix’s Jennifer Fleenor has more than 40 years of metrology experience including US military, Foreign Military Sales, DOD contractor, and commercial calibration, Jennifer Fleenor has expansive experience in dimensional, electrical, mechanical, thermodynamics, and time/frequency.
A2LA’s Stephanie Morin supports the day-to-day operations of accreditation for the calibration team and assists accreditation officers in the calibration program as well as the proficiency testing provider and reference material producer programs.
