Bison Engineering is an employee-owned environmental consulting and engineering firm that specializes in air quality. They offer their customers several service lines, including air emissions testing, ambient monitoring, permitting and consulting services, and gas flow monitor manufacturing. They mainly serve industrial manufacturers, energy producers, mining, wood products facilities, and the oil and gas sector, but can serve any facility with an exhaust stack and the potential to emit air pollutants.
Bison’s air emissions testing division is accredited by A2LA to ASTM D7036-Standard Practice for Competence of Air Emission Testing Bodies (AETBs). As part of the A2LA exclusive partnership with the Source Evaluation Society (SES), A2LA offers assessments to the AETBs on behalf of the Stack Testing Accreditation Council (STAC) and SES Data Quality Committee for organizations in the stack testing industry.
